Buzzing is a brilliant counting game that you play in groups of three. Below you will find more options if you have more than three players.

The game starts with all three players in a triangle facing each other. All players will begin in a squat hold position. The aim of the game is to take turns to count up as high as possible and try and reach 40 as a team. The only catch is that all multiples of four (4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36 & 40) and numbers with four in them (14 and 34) players must skip this number and stand up and say buzz instead as you can see in the video this in action. Players start again if they say the wrong number, miss a buzz or stand up at the wrong time. If they can get to 40, the game is over as every number in the forty’s has a four in it, and it would be constant buzzing.

Once you master the game, you can make it hard with different topics like countries, foods, sports etc, instead of saying buzz. This adds another dimension as you can’t repeat countries, and you only have two seconds to think of a new one instead of saying buzz.

If you have four players, you will do multiples of five and numbers with five in them as your buzz numbers. If you have groups of five players, your buzz numbers will be multiples of six and numbers with six in them. You keep changing this depending on the number of players you have.

The best part about this game is that no one sits out, and there are no winners or losers. Instead, you are working together as a team to try and get as high as possible. It’s a brilliant game that will make people smile, laugh and connect as they try and achieve the goal of getting to 40. As you can see in the video, Dale, Kayla, and Aaron are having so much fun playing this game.
